Fight an evil overlord in this fighter/beat-em up hybrid!

Made in 2 weeks for the PIGSquad Cliffhanger Jam.

Nothing says "Cliffhanger" like stories where the villain becomes too powerful to defeat.   We're constantly left on a cliffhanger wondering if the hero will ever achieve enough power to win.  This game draws heavy influence from that genre of storytelling, and people familiar with it will likely see obvious influences.

Controls (Xbox gamepad controls in parentheses):

• Arrow keys (Joystick): Move
• Z (X): Attack; Also advances dialogue
• X (A): Jump
• C (Y): Power up / Perform special attack
• Shift (Left trigger): Dash
• Spacebar (Right trigger): Block
• Enter (Start): Skip cutscenes
• F4: Toggle fullscreen
• Keys 1 - 5: Change screen size
• F1: View help
• Esc: Quit (Must be on help screen)
• (Debug/cheat) F10: Advance to next boss phase (NOTE: Using this in the browser build will crash the game)
